New Fish Beads

I've got a few new fish beads to get listed in my etsy shop. I like the shape of the orange, no make that tangerine, one.

My BirthBones dog collar charms will soon be available on a Dutch luxury pet supplies website. How cool is that?

New Beads to Start Off August

I've got 4 new sets of beads to put in the etsy shop, as well as six new fish beads. But here is a preview of a couple of things. I'm loving the new bones, "Sunset Bones". The color looks awesome on sun tanned skin and there's more than enough length here to make a bracelet. They will be available tomorrow.

Very Special Glass Fish Beads

VanOliveLampwork, etsy seller, makes the most ingenious lampwork fish I've seen. These are wonderfully unique, and large, and organic. It is fun to speculate as to how they were made, since the artist says they are made "off mandrel". They are so tactile looking, with all the impressed eyes, and skeletons, scales/dots, and fins. And the fin placements... brilliant little tufts of fin!

Tomorrow, another seamstress of fantastic little pet monsters.

Best Wishes for Farrah

You may have noticed that I use a photo of Ms Fawcett to represent myself in the profile corner... I don't think she would mind, if she knew... It's just that I have no pictures of myself that I care to share. And everyone likes attractive people. And when I was younger, I was compared to Farrah once or twice... Or maybe they were talking to someone else... In any case, Col. Austen and I are thinking of her today.

Yesterday while playing at the torch, I came up with a couple of bead designs that I planned to spend today making sets out of. But I ended up being busy dealing with some really nice orders that came in, and didn't get the new beads made. So no eye candy today. Oh, how's about I put up a picture of this funky fish bead that lasted all of 5 minutes in the shop before someone caught it!
